Jennae Schenk - Owner and Master Stylist
I am a wife, mother, hairstylist and the owner of Elegant Hair Designs. I graduated from beauty school in October of 2000. Since then I have attended numerous on-going education and training classes from top companies and educators in the industry and continue to say up to date so that you receive the best service possible. I specialize in curly hair and hair extensions. Both of these areas require lots of time, money, and experience. I have taken classes with Deva Curl, Ouidad, Mizani, Forever Curls Academy, Babe Hair, Cinderella Hair, and more. While I specialize in these areas, I highly enjoy EVERY aspect of my job. I absolutely love what I do! In my spare time I enjoy singing, hiking, reading, crocheting, and being around people. I am also a certified spray tan artist through Norvell University. Kaitlyn Leeper - Master Stylist
I am a mother to three beautiful children and a wife. They are why I continue to push myself to succeed. I graduated from beauty school in November of 2016 and have been with Elegant Hair Designs ever since. Through on-going education I have learned so much over the years and I am eager to push myself to learn as much as I can to better myself as a professional. I especially love doing fantasy hair color and transformative colors! I would love to grow my clientele in those areas. I am also a certified extension specialist through Babe hair and have training with Cinderella Hair. I love installing extensions and watching people gain a new level of confidence. I am a positive and patient person, I am a good listener, and my goal is always to give you the best service possible so that you leave with a smile on your face. I have taken classes by KIN, Ouidad, Babe Hair, Danger Jones, and many others. I am also certified in airbrush tanning through Norvell. The healthy alternative to bronze skin. Devon Ruess - Senior Stylist
I am a mom to two beautiful children. I have been doing hair since 2015 and I have been with Elegant Hair Designs since 2019. I absolutely love what I do. I love meeting new people and hearing your story. I am a great listener and want you to be confident that what is shared in my chair stays in my chair. I specialize in short haircuts and curly hair. I have had many hours of training over the years from top brands in the industry such as Deva Curl, Redken, KIN, and more. I also really enjoy doing up-dos, whether its' for a wedding, prom, or just because (because who needs a reason to feel and look pretty). I am also certified in permanent jewelry! Ryenne Beatty - Junior Stylist
I am a wife and animal lover and I have been with Elegant Hair Designs since December of 2023. I was hired on right out of beauty school. While I was in beauty school I was one of the top students and was often called upon to help other students. Hair just kind of came naturally to me and I truly feel like it is a gift from God. Since being in the salon I have learned and grown so much. I am working on certifications and eager to learn as much as I can to grow my skills and my clientele. I love doing highlights and dimensional color and feel this is where I really shine. I recently took an advanced blonding class and now feel more confident behind the chair knowing these new techniques. I took several classes at America's Beauty Show in Chicago, and I have also obtained a level one certification in curly hair. I would love the opportunity to do your hair and get to know you! Hannah Conley - Apprentice Stylist
I am 20 years old and graduated from Empire Beauty School in July 2025. During my time there I shadowed several different salons but absolutely fell in love with the atmosphere at EHD Salon. As a newer stylist I am excited to jump into salon life and pursue my biggest passion. I am eager to continue learning and push myself to be the best that I can be, not only for myself but for my clients as well. Aside from making people feel beautiful and confident, I also want to make people feel heard and comfortable in my chair. So far I am loving dimensional color and using highlights and lowlights to create stunning hair colors that accentuate the natural colors and patterns in people's hair. I recently took an advanced blonding class and am excited to use what I learned to create beautiful masterpieces. Kristie Pullen - Support Specialist
I am a mom to three amazing kids (who aren't kids anymore) and work as the Salon Coordinator at EHD Salon. I have been with Elegant Hair Designs since 2021. I thoroughly enjoy people and customer service. I love being able to assist the stylists and clients any way I can. From greeting clients and getting coffee to answering phones and washing towels. I have always had a servant's heart so this job is truly fulfilling for me. I also really enjoy learning the business side of the industry and finding new ways to help around the salon. If you need assistance with an appointment or don't understand something about pricing or policies, please let me know and I would be happy to help you.
